About EduSchedX

EduSchedX was developed to address the challenges of manual class scheduling at Visayas State University Alangalang, where faculty assignments, classrooms, sections, and time slots must be coordinated while avoiding scheduling conflicts.

The system applies a Genetic Algorithm together with constraint validation and conflict detection to support timetable generation. The Department of Teacher Education serves as the pilot department for the system's implementation and evaluation.
